Ka Thunk: Welcome to Industrial Stapling Play

Known for their distinctive and intimidating “ka thunk” sound, industrial staplers and stapling hammers are an exciting alternative to medical stapling play. Because all stapling play is considered edgeplay, and industrial stapling play has a distinctive fearplay element, Miss Jae Marie will walk you through the required prep and protection measures before proceeding to a live instructional scene.

This will be a face-to-face workshop located in Capitol Hill, Seattle. You must be 18+ and have completed the COVID-19 vaccination. This is a fully-inclusive class welcoming all individuals, all genders, and all skill levels. No prior knowledge/experience is required. It is not required to attend the workshop with a partner.

To register for the event, you must first complete an online pre-class via Google Classroom here: SLSC Pre-Class Training Once you are in the Google Classroom, click on the tab that says “Classwork” to see the course outline.

This should take about 30 minutes to complete. The online pre-class material covers:

  • Consent
  • Communication
  • Risk Profile
  • Sanitation

After completing the readings, there is a pre-class quiz.

Once you are finished, or if you have completed this pre-class training from a prior SLSC workshop, you may go to the online registration form here: Online Registration Form

Classes are capped at 18 registered individuals. Individuals will be placed on a waiting list once the 18 seats are filled. For this reason, group registrations are not allowed. Every individual in your party must register. Registered individuals will be emailed additional information including the location and address where the class will take place.
