This discussion group aims to create a space where queer members of Kitsap County and neighboring communities can come together to empower and uplift each other.
It’s back to school! So this month, join the Kitsap ACES Queer Group meetup to do some vocabulary and define some terms! People often get overwhelmed with the LGBTQIA+ acronym because what are all those letters even stand for, and there’s a plus, too? First things first, since we are the queer group, what does “queer” even mean? Is queer an offensive term, or is it something that has and can be reclaimed? Is queer an umbrella term, or does it define a specific type of person/sexuality/gender identity?

As queer people, we experience unique challenges and the CSPC is proud to offer a place to celebrate and commiserate through sharing experiences.
We’ll spend the first portion of the meeting checking in about what’s going on in our lives. The rest is spent discussing topics that explore how we navigate our understanding of ourselves and our relationships with others, our society, kink and how we can strive for more self-knowledge and happiness.

You can use it to enhance arousal and intimacy, do bondage without restraints, create ideal headspaces for all kinds of play, build mindf*ck scenes, strengthen Dom/sub training, increase relaxation for sensual scenes, and much more. You can use hypnotic storytelling to bridge the fantasy gap between what you are willing to do in real life and the hidden depths that lie in your internet browser history.
Doors open for the Hypnokink Enthusiasts’ Group at 1pm, and we start our programming at 1:15pm with introductions and a very quick introductory review of the terms and principles of hypnosis before we head into meatier topics. Got a fist in your buddy and want to take them for a real fun ride? This in-person lecture-style class and 20-30 minute fisting demo briefly covers the basics of (anal) fisting and then goes into more detail about techniques, tips & tricks, pacing, coming down and ending a fisting scene. The class time has been extended to allow for a longer demo where the instructor and demo partner will dive “deeper.” The focus will be less on how to take a fist or put one in for the first time, and more on what to do once inside.
In addition to the recurring events happening in October, we encourage you to mark your calendars for the events below.

Description:
Join us for a one night event where we’ll explore harnessing the power of uplifting others through physical, emotional, and mental intimacy, as well as learning how to be better “naked neighbors.” Join Sex Positive World & Lady Vivus for a two-class intensive focused on empowering ourselves & the world around us!
First Class: Gender-Affirming Intimacy
We’ll explore how positive, gender-affirming physical, emotional, & mental intimacy can make ourselves or others feel more aligned with their beautiful, authentic selves. This class was developed to support trans bodies, as well as their partners, and is accessible to everyone regardless of gender identity.
We will dive into some methods of intimate physical and sexual touch and affirming language to use for yourself or your partner(s) to create more gender-euphoric feelings. We will also discuss how achieving gender euphoria during intimacy can promote mental wellness for trans folks.
Finally, towards the end of this class, we will help you develop your own “Gender-Affirming Profile” or navigate helping a trans partner create their own Gender-Affirming Profile. This class is designed for both trans folks and cis allies. Gender non-conforming folks may also benefit from pieces of this to create their own unique Gender Affirming Profile.
Second Class: Sexy Intersections: Anti-Racism and Sex Positivity
This anti-racism class helps folks think about the many power dynamics that affect us when we interact in a community. It’s a good space for beginners who are eager to learn. We’ll think about our many identities and how they shape our expertise, and the areas where we need to learn and grow.
We’ll spend some time talking about the inevitable mistakes we make and the ways we hurt each other, and walk through the protocol we’ll use for those hard times when we’ve done things that don’t align with our values. We’ll center race while also addressing intersectionality in general. Everyone will be encouraged to work on perspective-taking from our privileges as well as our oppressions.
