Description:
Come join our hosts Jadzia and Elissa on first Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Pacific Time as we welcome people from all across the kinky and sex-positive queer community. Our focus during this discussion group will be on all the ways our queer identities interact with our kink and sex-positive lives. As queer people, we experience unique challenges and the CSPC is proud to offer a place to celebrate and commiserate through sharing experiences.
We’ll spend the first portion of the meeting checking in about what’s going on in our lives. The rest is spent discussing topics that explore how we navigate our understanding of ourselves and our relationships with others, our society, kink and how we can strive for more self-knowledge and happiness.

Link: https://seattleleather.org/events-lite/rope-lab
Description:
This month’s topic is Predicament Bondage!
RopeLab Seattle is a collaborative men’s rope bondage community for experienced rope riggers to workshop and practice rope techniques. This is a space for gay and bisexual men, transmen, and other male-presenting people to participate in ropework peer-learning skillshare.
There is no evaluation/requirement for proof of skill level. If you feel you have the necessary skills to participate, you are encouraged to attend. However, the focus of RopeLab Seattle will always highlight the needs of our community’s advanced riggers: RopeLab Seattle is not the place to learn your first knots, but once you have those down (having learned them at one of many great educational events such as Men Tying Men or a ropes class facilitated by SLSC) you are encouraged and welcome to join RopeLab Seattle.
Each RopeLab begins with a welcome and introduction to the evening’s topic/theme often accompanied by a photo slideshow highlighting a variety of methods or approaches to the theme/topic. Participants are encouraged to dialogue about these approaches and share examples of things they have tried, or want to try. After a short discussion, participants are encouraged to form small groups around specific interests related to the theme and then begin roping. This is very much a collaborative educational learning/workshop space and NOT a play party. Participants are encouraged to wander around the space to see other approaches to the topic/theme and engage in discussion. It is encouraged to swap/rotate your tying partner throughout the event to provide a variety of body types to practice on; however, we understand that some people may not be comfortable with a different tying partner, and that should be respected.

One of few spaces left owned by and for the LGBTQ+ community and allies.
BRÜT supplies the perfect hunting ground of a dark dirty dance floor, over-the-top set design, lights and lasers, the most incredible underground house music, and some of the hottest man meat in Seattle. Revelers are encouraged to wear their most provocative, most alluring, sexiest self. Get out your gear and let your primal side rule as we release you to the wolves, bears, and otters.
DJ Dan Darlington, Brüt party founder and resident DJ, brings his energetic style that has made this brand famous worldwide. His instinctual understanding of music’s power and his ability to drive the night with a wide range of vocal tribal, progressive and tech-house will keep you living your best life till the very end of the night.
DJ Peter Napoli also a founder of the Brüt party, is back to create the feel of the original New York Brüt party. His pulsating beat reigns over packed dance floors filled with sweaty bodies. Napoli’s sound is an evolution from the electronic scene of decades past, to a future built on an array of percussion.

We will have rope suspension points, kink equipment like spanking benches and racks, and space for everything from cuddles to needles.
In addition, post-pandemic we will be providing materials to help you flag your level of willingness to interact with others. This is to help everyone feel safer returning to large group social events, and to increase accessibility for members of our community who struggled with socialization even before spending over a year at home.
All of us on the team love the community this party built before the pandemic. We want to see that return and build on that to make it even stronger. This is the queer party you’ve been waiting for, back and better than ever. Let’s get weird!
