Description:
Erotic hypnosis is a marvelous engine for intimacy and erotic imagineering. Hypnotic trance state is a delicious altered state all by itself, but when we stir in suggestion and storytelling we uncover an internal universe that seems limitless. This class will serve as a guide through the first steps in your erotic hypnosis journey and will cover the myriad consent issues, safety, hypnotic induction and will begin to cover applications of hypnosis to our erotic lives.
Daniel and Ben have crafted this class to be a blend of theory and practice. There will be a small bit of group work (so come prepared to take a little trip into a trance-y headspace), but mostly the practical exercises will be paired. Optimally, you’ll bring a partner to this event; if not, we will do our best to make sure everybody is paired with someone.

Description:
RopeLab Seattle is a collaborative men’s rope bondage community for experienced rope riggers to workshop and practice rope techniques. This is a space for gay and bisexual men, transmen, and other male-presenting people to participate in ropework peer-learning skillshare.
There is no evaluation/requirement for proof of skill level. If you feel you have the necessary skills to participate, you are encouraged to attend. However, the focus of RopeLab Seattle will always highlight the needs of our community’s advanced riggers: RopeLab Seattle is not the place to learn your first knots, but once you have those down (having learned them at one of many great educational events such as Men Tying Men or a ropes class facilitated by SLSC) you are encouraged and welcome to join RopeLab Seattle.
Each RopeLab begins with a welcome and introduction to the evening’s topic/theme often accompanied by a photo slideshow highlighting a variety of methods or approaches to the theme/topic. Participants are encouraged to dialogue about these approaches and share examples of things they have tried, or want to try. After a short discussion, participants are encouraged to form small groups around specific interests related to the theme and then begin roping. This is very much a collaborative educational learning/workshop space and NOT a play party. Participants are encouraged to wander around the space to see other approaches to the topic/theme and engage in discussion. It is encouraged to swap/rotate your tying partner throughout the event to provide a variety of body types to practice on; however, we understand that some people may not be comfortable with a different tying partner, and that should be respected.

Capitol Hill, location given upon registration
Cost: No cost for class, but mini bootblacking kits available for purchase for $15
Link: Leather Care Skillshare 101: Bootblacking
In this class, bootblack Cinder Welpe covers just the tip of bootblacking as a practice and a fetish. Throughout the class, we’ll have hands-on demonstrations of different styles of Bootblacking itself with plenty of opportunity to ask questions about application and get your hands dirty by touching and caring for gear. No prior experience needed!
We’ll start with the basics of building a bootblack kit, including discussion on accessibility and allergens. To help you get started, we’ll have starter kits available for purchase for $15. Then, we’ll break out the gear and start identifying different types of leather. We’ll review the most frequently used products and touch on a few techniques and approaches. We will also have a brief discussion on non-Leather gear care.
Attendees are encouraged to bring whatever bootblacking/gear care materials they have AND any pieces of gear that they would like to discuss caring for. The only partner you need is a piece of gear, and we will have oodles to spare, so don’t stress if you don’t have anything! There will be no nudity, but we can always touch on the ways in which different surfaces of the body can be used in a Bootblacking scene.

Hitchin’ Bitches is intended as a positive place for learning, practicing and sharing rope for femme and gender-nonconforming tops – and bottoms of all genders – in and around Seattle. We meet to learn, share, and experience rope firsthand based upon peer-to-peer and unconference learning and sharing concepts. Cis men are also welcome to attend as the guest and bottom of a rigger, provided they remain in bottom mode and respect the ethos of the space (sorry, no unaccompanied cis men). Potential attendees should join the FetLife group and introduce themselves before RSVPing.
In addition to the recurring events happening in December, we encourage you to mark your calendars and register for the events below, which may fill up/sell out quickly!
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Capitol Hill, Seattle (location given upon registration)
Cost: None, but donations encouraged
Link: The Humanity of Dominan(ce)ts
When it comes down to it, D/s relationships are about two individual consenting human beings – emphasis on the “human beings.” Neither individual is inherently better than the other. Neither individual is more deserving of respect than the other. Neither individual should be denied the rights to their own humanity. And neither individual is unworthy, lowly, perfect or all-knowing. As the saying goes, “nobody’s perfect”.
This Q&A/discussion is not the “one true way” of D/s: It is another perspective. Hopefully you take away some food for thought and come prepared to ask questions. Attendees can expect an engaging discussion on relationship dynamics that challenge stereotypical ideas about roleplay and empowers D/s practitioners to think about their own power exchange relationships.
8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
Gallery Erato, 309 1st Avenue South, Seattle 98104
Cost: $25 early bird, $35 standard

Come play hard! Toys 4 is a dungeon party for men and for people who have lived experience as men.
Toys is returning to Gallery Erato, the Pioneer Square home of the Pan Eros Foundation (the nonprofit that produces the Seattle Erotic Art Festival). It’s a large, multilevel space with tall ceilings: a perfect place for our kind of party.
When you first enter the Toys party you’ll walk through the exhibition of men-in-art (curated especially for the month of December). In this same area, we’ll have several kinky tops who will be offering brief (10-15 minute) tastings in their areas of expertise. Then you’ll arrive at a suspension area and demonstration area (14′ ceilings). The main play space will be downstairs, and it’s very large, featuring many great spaces for play.
Advance tickets only. Limited tickets available. Water available. Please bring your own bottle or cup. Questions may be directed to: visiblerestraint@gmail.com. Visible Restraint can be found at http://visiblerestraint.com/ (NSFW).
